8.12.24: Calmer weather for the last workparty of the year.

What a change in the weather. Still a tad breezy after Storm Darragh but we were sheltered down in the Sensory Garden. Two wind chimes have been taken down to be untangled and mended. Thank you to whoever rescued some of the chimes and stuck them in the flower beds for safety.

Quite a lot of sand has blown over from the beach onto the borders, but not a lot we can do about that right now.

Seven of us  enjoyed the sunshine and gave the beds and the new Rockery a Winter tidy, edged up and planted a number of Polyanthus kindly donated by a local resident. I’m sure the polys. will be bursting with colour in a couple of months time.

We finished off with a  hot cuppa at the Pavilion.
